About: Mandy Pekin is the VP of marketing of GrubHub.com. For over 10 years, Mandy has launched some swanky new products, built new brands, and developed growth strategies at established companies and small, entrepreneurial ventures. Before joining GrubHub, Mandy was at McKinsey & Company, Unilever (where she had loads of fun managing the Michelle Branch concert sponsorship), and Dyson. Most recently, she was the VP of marketing and co-founder of a start-up, Strong Suit. Mandy also has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

When Mandy’s not devising GrubHub’s marketing plan to take over the world, she’s likely home chasing her 3 and 1 year olds around the house, walking her lovable pooch, or ordering from Essence of India or Thai Pastry from GrubHub.com.

Favorite foods: Anything and everything, as long as it is fresh, healthy, vegetarian, and doesn’t contain one of the thousands of things I'm allergic to! That being said, I’ll never pass up a good Thai, Japanese, Ethiopian, or Indian meal!

Worst delivery experience: Dinner from one of my local standbys that arrived with the list of things I’m allergic to written on the clamshell, but still included in my dinner. Needless to say, I was not excited about waiting another 45 minutes for my food to come.
