About: Matt Maloney is a co-founder and CEO of GrubHub.com. Before conjuring up plans with his buddy Mike Evans, to take over the online delivery world, Matt majored in physiology at Michigan State University. But as the Internet was being born, he dreamt of becoming a “World Wide Web-master” and decided to turn on, boot up and jack in. Switching gears, he picked up a masters in computer science and jumped headfirst into building major Internet Web sites. Matt is the entrepreneur in residence at the Illinois Institute of Technology and currently working on his MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (yes, slowly but surely).

Despite his hectic schedule, Matt always has time for good food and drinks. He and his wife Holly, who’s a registered dietitian and chef instructor at Kendall College in Chicago, enjoy creating masterpieces in the kitchen... at least they seem that way after a bottle of wine or two.

Favorite foods: Any food prepared really well, especially unique ethnic cuisines made with really fresh ingredients and fun spices.

Worst food delivery experience: Cold hamburger, soggy fries and a styrofoam clamshell! The trifecta of miserable delivery.
