Seamless: Sarge’s Deli has been around since 1964. Can you tell us a little bit about the history of Sarge’s?
Andrew: In 1964, my great-grandfather was a Sargeant in one of the police precincts in Brooklyn. And then he opened up “Sarge’s” Deli!
Seamless: You guys have a great New York Deli selection. What are you favorite items on the menu?
Kenny: The pastrami and corned beef that we cure here on premises is delicious. We’re the only ones in NY that cure on premises. We spice them and that’s my favorite here.
Andrew: And my favorite – We have the best Matzo Ball Soup in town. Can’t beat it!
Seamless: Sarge’s delivers all over Manhattan. How do you make sure you are able to reach the entire island?
Kenny: We have a few vehicles and cars. We drive all the way around Manhattan. We have a fleet of bicycles and some men on foot. We have a great amount of delivery guys!
Seamless: Your restaurant is open 24 hours. What foods are people craving and ordering at 3AM?
Andrew: When all the bars close at 3AM, everyone comes in and orders mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers and basically all the bar food you can think of, we have it here.
Kenny: Buffalo wings… And of course where else can you get Boiled Beef Flank in the Pot at 4 in the morning?
