Seamless’ Member of the Week Profile: Rev
Every week, we ask a different Seamless member questions about ordering food online, food in general, and other fun topics. This week we have Rev, a Burger lover with some fantastic Thursday night plans.
Age: 441, in Burger Years
How and When Did You Discover Seamless? Moments after we landed the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. It was a long boat ride from the old world and I was starving. We had so much work to do in starting the new colony but no time to make dinner. I pulled up the app store on my compass and spun the North pointing looking for food delivery. Moments later the beta beta version of Seamless popped up and 30 minutes later, we were eating a feast of locally prepared vegetables. Back then they didn’t have bicycles and our delivery guy showed up on horseback. We tipped him a piece of gold and the horse a carrot. On that, the new nation was founded on customer service. Unfortunately there was a patent battle at the time and the story had to be omitted from the history books … Until now! (Ed. note: More than an early adopter, he’s probably the original Seamless adopter)
Where Do You Use Seamless? On a stone, in a cone, with a drone but mostly on my iPhone
Favorite Kind of Food: Venison!
Least Favorite Kind of Food: Seafood
Favorite Place(s) to Order From on Seamless? I have a few burger restaurants I could recommend… (Ed. note: Check back tomorrow for Rev’s top 5 burger spots on Seamless!)
Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? Cutting my cheek on the tin can and also, having to replace the string.
Favorite Celebrity Chef? Chef Ryan Harkins of the Grill ‘Em All Truck in Los Angeles
Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? Thaddeus “Tad” Ghostal, AKA Space Ghost!
What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? Anyone who does not answer this question with “invisibility” is someone you can trust. FYI – I can’t be trusted.
In the Past Year, What’s the Latest You’ve Stayed Up and Why? Until I felt like Dracula emerging from my coffin too late, stepping out into the morning sun from Idle Hands Bar. Why? Bourbon, Beer & Rock is the curse that they gave me.
Plans for Tonight? COOLEST! PLANS! EVER! The fantastic folks at Defiant Brewing Company in Pearl River, NY are making a one time only craft beer for my bar Idle Hands. We are hosting the official NYC listening party for Mastodon’s new album “The Hunter.” The people at Defiant being not only purveyors of fine beer are also fans of fine music and are making us a limited edition Mastodon The Hunter Pumpkin Porter. If you don’t come try it tonight, you will probably never have it plus you’ll get to hear the new Mastodon record in its entirety. HORNS UP! More info: http://bit.ly/IdleHands1Year
