SeamlessWeb’s NYC Member of the Week Profile: Denise
Every week, we ask a different SeamlessWeb member questions about ordering food online, food in general, and other fun topics. This week we have Denise, who wishes she could create a force field around herself to order and eat SeamlessWeb…
Occupation: Director of Production for a digital agency
How and When Did You Discover SeamlessWeb? Via Twitter and looking at those oh, so pretty SeamlessWeb plastic bags being carried around by delivery guys around my neighborhood.
Where Do You Use SW? Anywhere – I’ve got the iPhone app. But mostly in my office: open a browser tab, navigate, order.
Favorite Kind of Food: Belgian, French bistro, BBQ, Malaysian, hmm… do I not have a favorite?
Least Favorite Kind of Food: I’m not a fan of ham hocks, or chicken feet. (Ed: Fair enough.)
Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? Having to repeat my order over and over again to make sure they didn’t miss anything. A runner up would be worrying about a mix-up because the person on the other line isn’t focused.
Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? Do Twitter shoutouts count? (Ed: Obviously.)
Favorite Celebrity Chef? Masaharu Morimoto – friendly guy =)
Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? Thundercats. I used to pretend I was WilyKit. (Ed: Did you have a Wiley Kat too?!)
What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? The ability to create a force field.
In the Past Year, What’s the Latest You’ve Stayed Up and Why? A Saturday at 4 a.m.; trying to decide where to go for a spur-of-the-moment weekend getaway for that same day. We hopped in a car 4 hours later and drove to the Adirondacks, and then Montreal. I love being spontaneous.
Plans for Tonight? Writing a restaurant review in my food blog – deecuisine.com – while tweeting, watching my favorite sitcoms and drinking an ice cold glass of Piraat. Serious multi-tasking. (Ed: Good plan to stay out of this heat!)
