How and When Did You Discover Seamless? Less than a year ago through Twitter, but I’m surprised I didn’t find it sooner! Ordering food with just a few keyboard clicks and never worrying if you’ve got enough cash on you for the deliveryman? That’s what I’m talking out! Perfect for when you’re in a hurry or just a lazy Sunday.
Where Do You Use Seamless? I use Seamless wherever I get hungry… which is everywhere! But work and home definitely dominate.
Favorite Kind of Food: I like BBQ because I’m drawn to foods that are both sweet and savory. Meats with a bourbon glaze are pretty much my heaven.
Least Favorite Kind of Food: This may be a controversial answer, but I hate pickles. There have been lots of foods that I’ve grown to love as I’ve gotten older, like onions and olives, but I still can’t go for pickles (no can do!). I have to specifically request they not be on my burgers because the lingering pickle juice is just gross to me, ruining and infecting perfectly good foods!
Favorite Place to Order From on Seamless? My favorite place to order from is a little spot in my neighborhood called Coral Restaurant. It’s American food with a Latin flair, and they’ve got everything, including the best stuffed french toast for when I’m too lazy to leave my apartment for brunch. Their fruit shakes have become part of my summertime routine. It’s my go-to and I’m pretty sure all the delivery guys know me by name now!
What’s your record for orders placed on Seamless in a 24-hour period? Twice! I was on a salad kick and they’re always best fresh!
If you had to eat food for 30 days in a row, what would that be? Ooh, that’s tough. Either Ciao Bella’s Chocolate Hazelnut gelato or Taiwanese fried chicken from the Bian Dang truck in NYC. So moist and flavorful, it really is crave-worthy.
Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? I like to place my orders as quickly and confidently as possible, so I hate it when I mispronounce the name of a dish! It gets me frazzled.
Favorite Celebrity Chef? Does Doug from The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck count? He’s hilarious on Twitter and he’s always super nice whenever he’s served me. Plus, we’re both big fans of the same cult favorite TV show, Strangers With Candy.
What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? Teleportation! I’m known for my (fashionable) lateness.
Plans for Tonight (Tonight being Thursday night)? Social Media Week is in New York this week and it’s really exciting (because I love any excuse to be on Twitter!), so I’ll be attending a session after work, followed by a networking afterparty with some friends. Work hard, play hard!
