SeamlessWebber of the Week: Daina and Jeff

Every Thursday, a different SeamlessWeb customer tells us about how he or she orders from the site. This week we have a two-for-one special with Daina and Jeff, a very SeamlessWeb couple:

Name: Daina and Jeff (Ed: Better known as @dsschatz and @BeeeejEsq, two of our most avid Twitter Trivia participants)

Age: 34 (average)

Occupation: Actor and Attorney

How and When Did You Discover SeamlessWeb? Daina (covering Jeff’s ears): An ex introduced me to it. Jeff: Learned about it from a friend working late hours at a big law firm. (Ed: At least you both learned about it from friends.)

Where Do You Use SW? Daina: My place. Jeff: MY place. Daina: …well, I use it at work, too. So there. Jeff: So do I. Daina: …all right, then. Jeff: Good talk.

Favorite Kind of Food: Daina: Eggplant rollatini! Jeff: Just about anything with duck in it.

Least Favorite Kind of Food: Jeff: Olives, ginger, and cauliflower, not necessarily in that order. Daina: Spoiled.

Favorite Place(s) to Order From on SW? Fresh Basil’s, Aki Sushi, Aoki Japanese Restaurant, Westway Diner, Don Giovanni, Gracie’s Corner Diner, Soup Stop, Viang Ping (Ed: But which place has the best eggplant rollatini?!)

Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? Jeff and Daina (almost in unison): They tend not to get the details right on the order. Jeff: Like two different dressings for her salad. Daina: Or no ginger within a 50-mile radius of his sushi.

Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? Jeff: I’ve been writing for for ten years, I wrote a couple of issues for, and apparently there’s a website called “Jeffrey Anbinder Must Die!” (but apparently it’s about some Australian dude, so I think I’m safe) Daina: I’m on YouTube. *Self high-five*

Favorite Celebrity Chef? Jeff: James Beard. I’m old-school. Daina: Mr. Coffee.

Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? Jeff: Bugs Bunny. Daina: I’d like everyone to join me in a rousing chorus of, “Da da da da da, Inspector Gadget, da da da da da da-da, woo-woo!”

What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? Daina: The ability to function on no sleep. Jeff: The ability to fold fitted sheets. Daina: Invisibility, so I wouldn’t “be around” to do chores like that.

In the Past Year, What’s the Latest You’ve Stayed Up and Why? Jeff: 4 a.m., talking to her. Daina: My brother and I went to Las Vegas to see Garth Brooks and didn’t quite make it to sleep the night/morning we left.

Plans for Tonight? Jeff: We tend to fly by the seat of our pants when it comes to evening plans, unless there’s a Cornell hockey game. Sometimes we catch a last minute show, sometimes we order in and watch trashy reality TV [*Daina giggles*], someti… Daina: Sometimes Jeff beats Daina over and over again in Scrabble. Jeff: And sometimes she make me listen to country mus… Daina: …as punishment for beating me in Scrabble!

I do believe all of the ideas you have introduced in your post.
They’re really convincing and can certainly work.
Still, the posts are too brief for beginners. May you please extend them a little from subsequent time?
    Thank you for the post.
