SeamlessWebber of the Week: Krista

Every week, a different SeamlessWeb customer tells us about how he or she orders from the site. This week it’s Krista, a recently wed New Yorker who’s having an affair on the side with… SeamlessWeb!

First Name: Krista

Age: 36

Occupation: Marketing

How and When Did You Discover SeamlessWeb? When I asked a co-worker, who was sitting at his desk eating BBQ, where he got that he let me know about SeamlessWeb… I jumped right on it and have been in love ever since; with SW that is, not the co-worker.

Where Do You Use SW? At work.  On busy or rainy days SW is a life-saver!  It’s also a great way to avoid the crowds of midtown.

Favorite Kind of Food: Is there anything I really don’t like? Love Italian, love Mexican… really I can go on and on and on! (Ed: As they say… make love not war…)

Least Favorite Kind of Food: This is a tough one given my previous answer, but I must say I hate raisins. They are just so wrinkly… yuck!

Favorite Place(s) to Order From on SW? Hale & Hearty, which may sound just so ordinary, but it’s definitely my go to lunch choice. (Ed: As it is National Soup Month, Hale & Hearty is quite a popular and sensible choice!)

Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? There always seems to be a communication gap and the person who answers is always distracted by a ringing phone or another customer or something.

Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? I may have been mentioned in a tweet or two, but I think this may be my first!

Favorite Celebrity Chef? Food-wise, Mario Batali, he is a pasta god (have you been to Babbo?!) I mean seriously!  But I’ve also got to give a shout out to Guy Fieri, he’s just so likeable!

Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? The Smurfs… little blue people living in mushrooms, how can you not love them?? (Ed: Then I bet you’re excited for the new Smurfs movie!)

What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? Invisibility, I’d love to sneak into those celebrity kitchens!

In the Past Year, What’s the Latest You’ve Stayed Up and Why? Probably a couple of weeks ago, roaming around NYC showing an out-of-towner the sights.

Plans for Tonight? They include, dinner, wine, my husband and our couch. (Ed: That sounds just about perfect!)
