The New Seamless iPad App is Here!
At Seamless we are always looking for the best ways to deliver food happiness to our members and restaurant partners. Today, we are extremely excited to introduce our new iPad App for Seamless food ordering. In case you were wondering – we did hear you and we’ve been working tirelessly over the last few months to build you an awesome app!
The Seamless iPad App isn’t just another way to order from your favorite local restaurants (although, it’s definitely that, too!), it is just plain fun. It is a whole new Seamless experience, beyond what you can do on the web and mobile apps – it was built specifically for iPad.
With new and enhanced features exclusive to the iPad, we make it easy for you, our members, to find and order exactly what you are looking for. After opening the app, you can choose between “I’ll have the usual” and “Show me the menus,” – these are two pathways that were specifically designed around how our members order from Seamless, together with how people use iPads. “I’ll have the usual” gives you the ability to browse through your order history and quickly re-order the same dishes or visit a favorite restaurant to try a different dish. “Show me the menus” allows you to explore all the available restaurant choices for pickup or delivery and decide where and what to eat. You can filter by cuisine (using the app’s really slick cuisine sliders), easily find discounts and new restaurants, and sort by estimated delivery times, order minimums, ratings, and more! You can also see restaurant and high def food photos, explore ratings and reviews, ‘like’ items, rate restaurants and more.
I’ve been using the Seamless iPad App for a little while now (what can I say… testing the beta versions is one of the best perks of working at Seamless!), and I can honestly say that I’m obsessed with it (pretty sure my wife and kids are tired of me talking about it all the time). The Seamless experience has never been faster, more personalized, or more fun! With the unique search and sort options, the whole ordering process is Seamless (can I even say that with a straight face?). One of my favorite features is the Chef’s plate in the bottom corner. Tapping that will bring you to your order total, restaurant menus, and your bag.
The Seamless iPad App is the next step in the evolution of delivering food happiness to our members and restaurant partners, and continuing to deliver on our commitment to being the most comprehensive source for local restaurant information and mobile and online ordering. The App will enable our 8,000+ restaurant partners to gain exposure to new customers who are using iPads, and to further cultivate the great relationships they have with existing customers through Seamless.
