To my Grubhub Family,
We continue to live and navigate through challenging times. Just when a devastating virus peaks in our country, we are experiencing a deep sense of sadness, loss and anger due to recent tragic events that have again exposed widespread racism here in America.
This is a painful and difficult time for Black Americans and their families, and, the distressing events of recent weeks have occurred amid a pandemic that has disproportionately impacted Black and Brown communities across the United States.
While our Black colleagues uniquely feel personal outrage at these events that we see all too often, I and the entire Grubhub team share their horror and frustration, and know the impact of current events is profound and will rightly be felt for a very long time.
Now is not the time to be silent, so Grubhub and I commit that:
Grubhub will always stand for inclusiveness and celebrate our diversity. We will continue to build on the shared experiences and differences in all of us because our success depends on the diversity of our people. At Grubhub, we are proud of our diversity – from employees to diners to drivers to restaurant owners. We will continue to create a culture where hate and racism are not tolerated and where we challenge our thinking, assumptions and biases every day. We commit to doing better: to learn, to ask questions, and to make Grubhub a safer and more inclusive community for everyone.
Furthermore, Grubhub will stand up, speak out and come together to take actions that bring enduring change, and show that we stand with all communities.

Bryan Stevenson founded the Equal Justice Initiative and his leadership is now more important than ever. As such, Grubhub is donating $1,000,000 to support this organization and justice for all.
Together we are better and we must honor and share the sense of powerlessness and grief that afflicts us today. Stay safe, stay strong and please take care of yourself and each other.
